Signature Maker builds a signature three ways: draw it with a mouse, trackpad, or pressure-sensitive pen (stroke width responds to pressure on supported devices); type your name in one of four handwriting-style fonts; or upload a photo of a signature on paper and have the white background removed automatically. Every mode exports a transparent PNG at 2x or 3x, and drawn signatures also export as a clean SVG with smoothed, rounded strokes. Your signature is never uploaded or saved anywhere — it exists only in the browser tab while you're using it.

- No — it exists only in the browser tab while you're using the tool. Nothing is uploaded, and closing or reloading the page clears it.
- Can I upload a photo of a signature I already signed on paper?
- Yes, the Upload tab removes the white/paper background automatically, with tolerance and feather controls to clean up the edges.
- Does the PNG export actually have a transparent background?
- Yes, PNG exports have real alpha transparency, so the signature can be dropped onto any document or background color.
